Top items on the Sky Mall 2009 Magazine Spring Best Finds
Since I travel a lot, I have plenty of time to review the latest and greatest Sky Mall magazines. Sometimes several times over, Every once in a while, I find things that are compelling, however I never make the purchases, thinking I might be able to find a different or better deal either at a store or online.
Well, this time, I decided to make use of the ‘ol magazine and do a top list of best finds in the Sky Mall.
1. The indoor dog restroom: perfect for a puppy or city dog, it is a mat that has antibacterial turf, aaand organic smell to attract dogs, so they can learn that it’s an acceptable place to do “the duty”. This is way better than the little diaper looking mats I’ve seen my friends use. Course it is $150. But it might be better than buying the diapers.
2. The Versatile consol to card table to dinner table. Now, it ain’t my style, but this kick ass table can shrink to the size of a little table that could fit in a hallway end or by the front door, and expand into a 4 or 6 top table! For little tiny apartments, this is the answer. Especially if it’s a studio. $400
3. The 150 country travel adaptor: I haven’t even been to Europe and this little bugger is definitely worth it. Instead of having to carry around several different types of adaptors, you have ONE! At $35 bucks, don’t leave it plugged into the wall!
4. Kool Light O Scope: This is an underwater pool light that emits a rainbow of purple, orange, red and green lights on the bottom of your pool. How cool and it’s $40 bucks! I could get hypnotized by this one.
5. For something slightly creepy and whimsical, the Spirit of Nottingham Woods Tree Sculpture, looks like a face on a tree. It has the bark with the features, so when you add it to you tree, it gives it life! Must have a slightly morbid sense of humor. $20.
Well, that’s it. I don’t know if I’ve looked through them too many times or what, but it’s not holding the attractions it once did. I wonder if they are suffering from the economic downturn. Granted, I will not purchase any of these items.
